About us
A light set on a hill, and a home for every generation
God's Lighthouse Church is a Pentecostal assembly in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies International family. We gather to worship, to pray, to hear the Word and to look after one another through the week.
Who we are
We are a church family rather than an institution: Sunday worship, midweek prayer and Bible study, youth who are growing up in the faith, and teams who keep the doors open, the sound working and the sanctuary clean. Visitors are welcomed, never pressured — come as you are and stay as long as it helps.
Everything you need as a member — the calendar, event sign-ups, your serving rota and prayer requests — sits inside the member portal, so you can keep up from your phone.
What we believe
- Salvation in Christ. God saves and transforms every person who turns to Him in faith.
- The Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is for every believer, and His gifts still build the church today.
- The Word. Scripture is our authority for faith and living, read and applied together.
- Prayer. We believe prayer changes things, so it sits at the centre of our week, not the edge.
- Family & mission. We look after one another — the young, the elderly, the newcomer — and we share our faith beyond these walls.
As an assembly of Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies International, we stand with churches across the Caribbean and beyond.
Our mission & vision
Our mission
God's Lighthouse exists to introduce people to Christ and develop them into mature disciples of Jesus who will then make disciples of others in Vincennes and the neighboring communities in which they are planted.
Our vision
To become a lighthouse of living stones; shining forth as one light, lovingly connecting people with God and each other.
